Version 2025 of WINDEV introduces two new Smart controls: • QR code with a centered logo. • Page range input. 215 N e w f e a t u r e W D W B WM QR CODE WITH A CENTERED LOGO To generate a QR Code with an embedded logo, simply specify the QR code content, the image to be embedded and its size in the QR Code. Reminder: Smart controls are provided with their source code, and can therefore be fully modified and customized. Benefit of this new feature in version 2025: Custom QR codes 216 N e w f e a t u r e W D W B WM PAGE RANGE INPUT The new"Page range input" Smart control lets you enter a range of pages in an Edit control. The most common use case is to enter a range of pages to be printed. Benefit of this new feature in version 2025: A ready-to-use, popular input mode ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY Preserving our environment is essential. When PC SOFT prints physical docu- ments, PC SOFT, the paper supplier or the printer, (FSC - Forest Stewardship Council - certified and PEFC - Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certifica- tion - certified) replants as many trees as the ones that were used to print. The FSC label was created by the FSC, an NGO that includes, among others, Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth and the WWF. For example, it takes 50 trees with a 6-inch trunk diameter to print 100,000 copies of a 92-page document on glossy paper. PC SOFT or the printer has 50 trees replanted immediately. Additionally, we mainly use paper pulp coming from wood waste (e.g. sawmills) and forest thinning. Software is also available for download and subscription.
